The band Dagon is a metal band. For the sake of contraversy, we won't say what kind.

Formed in April 2004 Dagon have steadily gained respect and while developing a style of metal unlike any other in the country.

Equal parts face-meltingly heavy and soothing melody, Dagons schizophrenic soundscapes mold seemlessly from each style. Dagon harness elements of thrash, death and black metal, as well other subtle influences from non-metal genres. Epic sounding riffs, ethereal melodies and stirring atmospheres form elaborator tapestries of sonic power.

Dagon is fronted by infernal death style roars and black nuanced screams of Bain(Vocalist & Lyricist). Marcs prodigious leads are backed by the machine like rhythemic assault of Sam,while Chris pounding basslines fill out the bottomend of the string section. Jordan creates polar extremes of bruises, ambience and punishing orchestral might on keys, while the primal blasting and ripping double kick is supplied by Leith on skins.

We have recorded our EP, bitch! Buy it!! When we get a label. And that is WHEN. Not if. Anyone outside of NZ interested in a copy, mail me. Unless we get signed to Nuclear Blast or BMG or Road Runner. Then you can buy it yourselves, Mofos. Currently in process of obtaining contract with the label set up to produce Tainted's debut "The Awakening". Details and specific dates are unclear. Unsure as to whether anything has infact been finalised.
